violence victims and their children, time to explore the cycle of violence in
their lives and to define goals that empower them to realize their self worth.

counseling:
Offers a safe, supportive
environment for survivors of domestic violence to share experiences, to be
educated on the Illinois Domestic Violence Act, and to learn new skills for
living.
Community
Presentations:
Offers adult groups within the
community information on the Groundwork Program and education on domestic
violence.
In-service
Seminars:
Provides the professional community
with a resource to become informed about domestic violence issues.
Prevention
Education:
Contributes to domestic violence
prevention by offering age-appropriate domestic violence presentations in
schools and to youth groups.
